2CHOEY 'On My Way'

Vertical Gallery is pleased to present Thai pop-artist 2CHOEY for his first solo show in France. “On My Way”, showing April 25-28 at the Urban Art Fair, will present over a dozen new paintings and an exclusive print release for the fair. With his iconic style of characters, “On My Way” is about the way we each try and achieve goals, shown with characters on the move. A self-taught artist with a degree in Urban Architecture, 2CHOEY brings a unique storytelling style through the use of finger-faced characters. He has had sold out shows in Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Chicago, as well as in group shows in Berlin, Miami and Melbourne. His colorful pop-art inspired work always references relevant themes in contemporary society.

Vertical Gallery est heureuse de présenter le pop-artiste thaïlandais 2CHOEY pour sa première exposition personnelle en France. «On My Way», présenté du 25 au 28 avril à la foire d'art urbain, présentera plus d'une douzaine de nouvelles peintures et une version imprimée exclusive pour la foire. Avec son style de personnages emblématique, « On My Way » raconte la façon dont nous essayons chacun d'atteindre nos objectifs, montrés avec des personnages en mouvement. Artiste autodidacte diplômé en architecture urbaine, 2CHOEY apporte un style de narration unique grâce à l'utilisation de personnages aux visages doigts. Il a donné des spectacles à guichets fermés à Bangkok, Hong Kong et Chicago, ainsi que des expositions collectives à Berlin, Miami et Melbourne. Son travail coloré inspiré du pop-art fait toujours référence à des thèmes pertinents dans la société contemporaine.
